Looking for a goofy challenge? On June 25th, a unique opportunity will present itself in Crested Butte. Named the “Chainless World Championships”, people of all backgrounds will be dressing up in ridiculous costumes, removing the chains from their bikes, weighing them down, and racing for seven miles from Kebler Pass into downtown Crested Butte while braking as least as possible! There is talk that the date may change, so be sure to check the  site beforehand.

Calling music lovers! Alpenglow: Free Outdoor Concerts are back this year! Every Monday for five weeks starting on Monday, June 28th, a variety of great musicians will be hitting the Center for the Arts outdoor stage this summer. It’s that magical place where long-time locals and part-time residents and visitors and young and old can all come together.”
