Crested Butte, the wildflower capital of Colorado, has been organizing the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival since 1986! If you love looking at gorgeous, colorful wildflowers, then you should come partake in the fun this July!

Crested Butte’s wildflowers are breathtaking. Containing both regular and alpine wildflowers, there are limitless blooms to admire while you’re exploring the town and the natural wonder around it. The number of floral varieties is almost overwhelming! Luckily, the wonderful folks over at the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival can help you get to know the array of colorful flowers more intimately.
This year’s wildflower festival will feature over 200 programs. Hikes, art workshops, photography classes, culinary and medicinal explorations, garden tours, and birding expeditions will take place regularly throughout the ten day festival period. There is an event for everyone to enjoy, whether you’re interested in nature journaling, butterfly watching, or geobotany!
